Coinpath® Explained
Coinpath® is the engine that computes every MoneyFlow. It turns raw transfers into a directed graph of who paid whom, how much, and how many hops away from the origin. The same engine is exposed as the Coinpath® API on the v1 GraphQL endpoint, which is what the Get API button opens.
This section explains the model so you can interpret a trace correctly:
- How to read a Coinpath graph: nodes, levels, edges and the query dimensions.
- Coinpath for EVM networks: how amounts are matched on account-based chains.
- Coinpath for UTXO networks: proportional attribution on Bitcoin-like chains.
- Coinpath for ledger-based networks: Stellar and Ripple specifics.
Coinpath® abstracts the protocol details of each blockchain and focuses on the transfer of value, so one trace reads the same way on Bitcoin, Ethereum or Tron.
